SIMCOX, Andrew (Andy)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 09/24/2004 Andrew "Andy" Simcox, 59, died Sept. 16, 2004 at his home in Show Low. He was born in Camden, New Jersey and grew up in National Park, New Jersey. When he was 16 he enlisted in the Navy. Andy proudly served his country in Korea and Vietnam. His area of excellence was damage control and biological warfare. In 1965 he met Eloise and they were married. They had four boys, Andy, Jr., Shayne, Rowdy, and Dayvid. He loved collecting guns and especially enjoyed life in the White Mountains. He will be missed by all. Andy was a member of the Shriners (where he was a temple guard), The Masons, Eastern Star and the Creeping Serpents. Andy is survived by his wife, Eloise of Show Low; four sons, Andy, Jr. (Christina) Simcox of Apache Junction, Shayne (Jennifer) Simcox of Williamstown, New Jersey, Rowdy (Shelly) Simcox of Apache Junction, Dayvid Simcox of Show Low; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Michael, Ricky, Rowdy, Jr., Jaclyn, Shannon, Daymain, Matthew; two sisters, Mary & Helen; four brothers, Walt, Dennis, Will, and Ray.
