The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ July 4, 1974, p. 13 Thelma Root Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Root were held at 4:00 P.M. last Friday at the Wickenburg Cemetery. Mrs. Root, a former resident, died Monday, June 24 in Palm Springs, California after a long illness. She was 43. Survivors include her husband Gene; two sisters, Alma Paul of San Diego, California, and Wanda Lich of Wickenburg; two brothers, Wayne Jones of Ajo, Arizona and Dean Jones of San Diego; and parents Mr. & Mrs. J. L. Jones of Wickenburg.
