The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/01/2004 Jessica K. Owens, 11, died Sept. 20, 2004 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born in Show Low, Nov. 21, 1992 and lived in Taylor most of her life. She was in the sixth grade at Taylor Intermediate School. She loved playing soccer and softball. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Jessica is survived by her parents, Dalton and Susette Owens, one brother, Jarom Dustin Owens and one sister, Collette Owens all of Taylor; her grandparents, Dalton Owens of Safford; Wayne and Peggy Watkins of Heber and Lynn and Elaine Ellsworth of Snowflake. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kira. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Taylor Love Lake Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
