The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/01/2004 Lowein was 82. She died Sept. 24 at her home in Eagar after suffering a stroke. Lowein was born April 22, 1922 in St. Johns. She was raised in Nutrioso, but lived most of her life in Mesa. She was secretary for the Mesa Public Schools for 35 years. She was very active in the LDS Church and loved geneology. She served a mission for her church at the Family History Center in Eagar. She was married to Christopher Isaacs. The marriage was later dissolved; however there were five children from that union. Her survivors include her daughter Carolynn McCormick, Eagar; son Chris Isaacs, Eagar; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ernest and Evaline Caffall; sons Randy, Jack and Gary Isaacs; brother Calvin Caffall; and sister Lee Ora Greer. Funeral Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 29, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Eagar Stake Center. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Springerville was in charge of arrangements.
