The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 15, 1974, p. 9 Mabel H. Byrd Mrs. Mabel H. Byrd, 81, passed away in Phoenix on Friday, August 9. Born in Chicago, Illinois on July 21, 1891, she was married to the late James B. Byrd and they had one son, James H. Byrd, who is also deceased. The Byrds moved to Wickenburg in 1945 where Mrs. Byrd was employed for several years as a practical nurse in the old Wickenburg Hospital. She was a charter member of Rebakah Lodge No. 39. Mrs. Byrd is survived by three grandchildren and a brother. Interment was at the Wickenburg Cemetery on Monday, August 12.
