The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ August 22, 1974, p.13 Glen L. Shorter Glen Lewis Shorter, a Wickenburg resident for the past 18 years, died in his home on Friday, August 16, at the age of 50. Mr. Shorter was born in Coffeyville, Kansas on August 3, 1924 and he and his family moved to Aguila, Arizona during his boyhood years. He worked for the Arizona Highway Department in Wickenburg for ten years. He is survived by his wife, Susy Jane, 3 children and 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Friday, August 23 at 2:30 pm at the Wickenburg Mortuary. Interment will follow at the Wickenburg Cemetery.
