The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ November 7, 1974, p. 12 Florence Wakefield Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Mae Haave Wakefield, 51, a former Wickenburg resident, were held in Williams, Monday. Mrs. Wakefield, a native of Rygate, Montana came to Arizona in 1930. She atted Wickenburg Schools, and had lived in Clarkdale and Prescott before coming to Williams in 1950. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and has served in official capacity in the Primary, Relief Society, and MIA, and had been a teacher in the adult Sunday School class for many years. Professionally she had been a general insurance agent, newspaper correspondent and was at one time advertising manager of the Williams News. Mrs. Wakefield died October 25. Burial was in Taylor, Arizona. Survivors include her husband, Grant, of Williams; two sons, Maurice of Scottsdale and Marvin of Ft. Huachuca; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry Rowley, Tucson, Mrs. Debra Chevelier, Mesa and Mrs. Verda Bush, Sacramento, Cal.; two brothers Richard and Ronald, both out of state; and three grandchildren.
