GEE, Matthew (Matt)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg January 16, 1975, p. 7 Matthew Gee Services were held Sunday for Matthew Gee, 14, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gee. The youngster died as a result of a gunshot wound in the abdomen. He was shot accidentally while target practicing with a friend. Know to his friends as “Matt” he was a freshman at Wickenburg Highs School and had been very active in the 4-H Club for the past six years. He held the office of reporter and Vice-President. He is survived by his beloved parents Bob and Ann Gee, grandparents, Anthony Valenti and Genima Valenti of Mass. and Guy and Mabel Gee of Illinois, Aunts Mrs. Norma Deschamps of Mass., Mrs. Marilyn Blauin of Phoenix and his uncle James Valenti of Mass. In memory of Matt Gee donations to the Wickenburg High School journalism class for dark room and photographic equipment are suggested and can be made to the “Matt Gee Fund” at the First Federal Savings in Wickenburg.
