MINEER, Amuel Lester

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/04/2010 Amuel Lester Mineer, 96, of Mesa died April 27, 2010 in Chandler. He was born Nov. 26, 1913, in St. Johns. Lester retired from Safeway grocery store in 1978. He is survived by wife Betty Regina Jones Mineer; step-daughter Darla Jones; four grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by step-son Bob Jones; brothers Leman, Myrl and Harold Mineer and sisters Merilla Brown, Ila Pulsipher and Lucinda Farr. A service will be held May 7, at 2 p.m. at the Amberwood Ward of the LDS Church, 2520 N. Hartford St. in Chandler. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. May 8 at the St. Johns Cemetery in St. Johns. Arrangements were handled by Bueler Mortuary.
