The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/08/2004 Darryl Dazen, 35, of Cibecue died Sept. 28, 2004 in Mesa. He was born Aug. 17, 1969 in Whiteriver. Darryl enjoyed driving heavy equipment in the logging industry for many years. Darryl is survived by his wife Jeannette Haven Dazen; daughter Darilyn Joy Dazen; three sons Jake Darryl Dazen, Darren Dazen, Derek Joe Dazen; mother Cheryl Adley; adopted father Floyd Dazen; sisters Raelene Moody, Cheryln George; brothers Palvo Moody Jr., Jackson George Jr., Roscoe Dazen; uncles Adam Adley Jr., Mitchell Barlow, Grant Lee, Mosiah Lee, Van Lee, Riley Lee; aunts Sharon Adley, Erma Adley, Cindy Bennett, Norma Adley, Isla Adley, Marie Henry, Ruby Henry, Rose Clay, Rose Clay; brothers-in-law Bentley Haven, Adam Henry Sr.; sisters-in-law Glenda Haven, Rhoda Henry; mother-in-law Ameda Haven and father-in-law Henry Haven. Darryl was preceded in death by his father Palvo Moody Sr. and adopted mother Dorothy Dazen. A wake was held Thursday, Oct. 7 at the Haven's residence in Cibecue. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Cibecue Cottonwood Gym, with Rev. Angel Pina Sr. officiating. Interment will be in the family plot, Mountain Shadow in Cibecue. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
