CARROLL, Frank (Coyote)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/08/2004 Frank "Coyote" Carroll, 57, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004 in Springerville. He was born in his aunt's home in the Bronx of New York, and moved with his family to California in the early 1950's. In 1965 Frank graduated from Atascadero High School in California. He then joined the US Army in 1966 serving two tours of duty in the Vietnam Campaign. After his return he found employment as a heavy equipment operator in Central California oil fields. Frank was an active member of the Eagar Arizona VFW for the past five years. Frank is survived by his wife, Donna Carroll of Eagar; father, J.J. Carroll of Eagar; children, Charles Franklin Carroll of Apache Junction, Tiffany Carroll of Eagar, James Carlson of Tulare, California, Sara White of Phoenix, Crystal Carroll of Santa Barbara, California; step-sons, Danny and Jim Terry; sisters, Linda Lee of Florence, Sandra Gearhardt of Santa Margarita, California, Judy Romo of Santa Inez, California; 10 grandchildren. Service of Remembrance will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the VFW Hall in Eagar. Owens Mortuary of Eagar handled the arrangements.
