TINNEY, Vina

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/15/2004 Vina Tinney, 80, died Oct. 8, 2004 in the Winslow Campus of Care. She was born in Indian Wells, where she lived her whole life. She was very helpful. She herded sheep, carted and spun wool. She was also a babysitter and had many friends and relatives. Vina is survived by two sisters, Isabelle Quimiayashe of San Bernardino, California and Maybelle Little of Flagstaff and many cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13 at the Indian Wells Presbyterian Church. Owens mortuary of Holbrook handled arrangements.
