PYPER, Joseph Eugene (Gene)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/15/2004 Joseph Eugene "Gene" Pyper, 26, died Oct. 8, 2004 at Navapache Regional Medical Center. Gene was born in Phoenix and lived the first 10 years of his life in Denver. The family then moved to Tucson where they lived for 4 years. He then lived in Tempe for several years before moving to Show Low in 1999. Gene was a carpet layer and had also been a cook. He loved working out as a body builder, and enjoyed camping and fishing in the White Mountains. He was dearly loved by his family and friends. Gene is survived by his fiancé, Tiffany Thacker of Show Low, his father Harold E. Pyper of Show Low, his mother, Phyllis Deanne Pyper of Show Low; one brother, Kevin Roy Forbes and three sisters, Lisa Gaye Shea of White Mountain Lake, Julie Celeste Berger of Eagar and Teri Colby of Chandler.
