The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 10/15/2004 Zearl Keams, 84, died in comfort and surrounded by love Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004 in Phoenix. He was born Sept. 10, 1920 to Alice Keams and Hosteen Tso. Zearl served in the Army during World War II. Zearl is survived by his daughters, Gloria, Lorene, and Rosetta; sisters, Effie, Maxine, Betty & Moretta; brothers, Chee & Willie; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Zella & Jane; brothers, Percy & Douglas; daughter, Lora; step daughter, Mae Ann; and son Earl. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at the Ganado Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ganado. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment will be in the Ganado Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
