She was a resident of Wickenburg for 25 years. She was an active member of the Soroptimist Club, Legion Auxiliary, and the Eastern Star. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd Britton, one son, Leonard Hanford, three grandchildren and four sisters; Mrs. C. W. Bisset, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. W. G. Wightman, Springfield, Ore.; Mrs. Dale English, Wenatchee, Wash.; and Mrs. Ernest Baker, Newberg, Ore. The funeral was held at 10 am Monday, May 26, with burial in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
