The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, May 4, 2010 Betty Pearl Correll, 77, of Prescott, Ariz., born Sept. 27, 1932, in Long Beach, Calif., passed away May 1, 2010. A Celebration of Life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott, with full military honors by the American Legion Post #6 of Prescott. She was born September 27, 1932 in Long Beach, California; the daughter of Joseph and Pearl (Johnson) Trask. Betty was 77 years old. Betty enjoyed fishing, camping, quilting, going to craft shows, and getting together with her favorite group 3 times a week to play Mahjong. She was very proud of her time spent in the United States Air Force, and the fact that she was one of five women to complete Air Force Weather School. Betty was very involved in the Pine Lakes community where she lived; she would spend hours in and around the pool. Betty is survived by her children; Candy (Bob) Heath of Prescott, AZ, Larry Huber of Santa Ana, CA, and Sheri (John) Mako of Lakewood, CA. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Jaimie Vickery, and a brother Joseph Trask of Hatch, UT.
