She left a legacy of love in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Until the time of her passing she resided in Glendale, Ariz. Her family was by her side.
Eloise was born in El Paso, Texas, on April 1, 1926. She moved to Los Angeles, Calif., as a little girl and grew up there. She married into an Arizona pioneer family, then relocated to Wickenburg, Ariz., where she lived all her adult life. There she raised four children.
Eloise was very active in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church as well as the church’s Ladies Auxiliary. She spent many years being on the Ladies Fire Auxiliary. She was also involved in the Las Damas Society. She was a companion/ housekeeper to several families in Wickenburg. In the course of time these families became lifelong friends. Our mother was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and the lost art of tatting.
