Carey E. Bentley-Oliver, 58, succumbed to cancer on Nov. 28, 2003 in Las Vegas. Carey was born in Williamsburg, VA and moved to Phoenix at 6 months of age. 

Later grad-uated from Washington High and attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. Returned to Phoenix and worked for Honeywell/Bull on Thunderbird for 22 years. She moved to Las Vegas 10 years ago and has worked for the Las Vegas Paiute Indian Tribe, heading the payroll department. 

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Raymond. 

Survived by her husband of 22 years, John Oliver, sister Shirley Romero (Frank), two nieces, Gina and Cindy of Phoenix. 

Services will be Dec. 13, 2003 at Palm Mortuaries, 1325 N. Main St., Las Vegas, NV.
