Dr. Ruth E. Brush, 73, died November 25, 2003. She studied nursing in Davenport, Iowa and earned degrees from Sterling College, New York University, and University of Colorado. After teaching at Arizona State University College of Nursing, she did nursing and psychological research consulting and related data analysis working with many students and faculty pursuing advanced degrees and other research until her retirement in 2000. Survivors include her friend and partner of 26 years, Clarabelle Theobald, and her sister, Dorthea Beiler. No services will be held. Donations to Hospice of the Valley may be made in her honor. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, AZ.
