DENEKE,
Billy
Deneke, Billy
Billy Oh so young and yet so aged Your heart was heavy but not with rage. Your shining smile shall be no more With those of us who loved you, Left to ask, what's all this for? Your Sparkling eyes and shining star Have dimmed away replaced by an even brighter light. For your kind soul left us all William, Andrew and Mike. God Bless You Allisa All our prayers are with you Billy Deneke 1967-2003 Our Hero's Above Us All In life we make heroes out of those that can sing, play sports or perhaps are a professional politician. Being famous is not the "core" of a hero, but rather how one chooses to live his life is that true barometer. Most as we all know, are not special at all!! We have lost a true hero in our Bill. He was neither famous nor fancy; he was so much more than that. In fact, no larger man has ever stood. He lived a life that should give us all hope. A life centered around his precious wife and beautiful boys, loving sister and his unwavering friendships. His status is not enlarged in death, but rather in his choices of life. Bill's greatness was not in what he said he wanted to accomplish, it's in how he chose to spend his limited time. To him his journey was clear, with his priorities crystal clear; make a good path for my family to follow. Every action he took, his work, his school, his off time, was spent to enhance, not his journey through life, but for those he so dearly loved and cherished. Heroes do not need to talk of their achievements; they just live them. William Deneke above all, did exactly that. Long ago God sent Billy two angels to guide him. The first was his grandfather, William Hyder, with whom he drew his kindness, sharing and dignity. The second his father, Larry Deneke, with whom he drew his love of the outdoors, family values and discipline. These two great men molded this boy into our hero as a man. The true irony is that Bill showed both his angels the power of a little boy's love. Let us mourn no more. Let us be strong and rise to the challenge with the knowledge our hero is gone, but his values and priorities shall be shared with all by us who knew and loved him so. God sent him two angels, rest assured Allisa and the boys in typical Billy fashion, will be more than covered, for our hero is truly above us all. From All That Love Him
