Thomas L. Davis, Jr., 88, of Scottsdale, Az passed away Nov. 24, 2003. Born in Coaldale, PA on Nov. 9, 1915 he moved to Arizona 20 years ago. He owned and operated the Davis Funeral Home in Tamaqua, PA for 43 years. He graduated from Mortuary Science School at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He was a member of the Tamaqua Masonic Lodge #238 and F. & A.M.; the Scottish Rite in Allentown, PA; the Rajah Shrine in Reading, PA; the El Zaribah Shrine in Phoenix, AZ; the Phoenix Hiram Club; and the Elks and the Lions. He was also a member of Scottsdale United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sons, Dr. Thomas L. (Vicki) Davis, III of Kingman, AZ; John R. Davis of Sedona, AZ; James R. "Dick" (Janice) Davis of Tempe, AZ; and grandchildren, Marty Deeken, James Davis, Samatha Davis and Russell Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane R. Davis, and his sister, Mrs. James H. Garland of Allentown, PA. Private Services Will be held. The family suggests contributions to Scottsdale United Methodist Youth Fund, 4140 N. Miller Rd., Scottsdale, Az 85251. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary.
