Herman Glenn Hoard of Glendale, AZ passed away suddenly November 27, 2003 in London England at age 64 with his wife by his side. Herman is preceded in death by his father Glenn and sister Pat. His mother, Juanita Field, age 83, joined him in Heaven on December 4, 2003. Herman was born October 23, 1939 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Herman and his family moved to Arizona in 1979. Herman was retired from the City of Phoenix. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Cheryl, children Daniel Hoard, Debra Paine, Greg Hoard, Brenda Hoard, Laura Sobelman and Carrie Phillips; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. There will be a memorial service on Monday, December 8, 2003 at 2 pm at Hansen Chapel, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix, AZ 85068. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
