HAMILTON, Judith Marguerite (Judy)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, December 4, 2003 Judith "Judy" (Gotham) Hamilton, 73, died peacefully Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003, after a short illness. Born Oct. 13, 1930, in Gouveneur, NY, Judy was valedictorian of her Oswego High School class. She moved to Phoenix in 1957, where she worked as a secretary for General Electric. She met and married Thomas "Tom" Hamilton in 1958. She left G.E. in 1967 and later worked at Greyhound (later the Dial Corporation); she retired in 1988. Judy enjoyed her family, particularly her grandchildren, extensive traveling with Tom, and reading. Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughter and son-in-law Anne Hamilton and Joel Williams; daughter Lisa; daughter Jennifer DeCross; grandson Sam DeCross, 11; granddaughter Jacqueline DeCross, 9; sisters Mary Prosser and Audrey Hughes (both of Oswego), and a large extended family. A memorial service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6th at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N. 7th St., Phoenix. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Oswego S.D.
