HARRIS, Faith Allyn

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, December 7, 2003 Faith A. Harris, 82, passed away on December 3, 2003 at her home in South Phoenix. Faith was born in Glendale Az on Sept. 17, 1921 to Clyde and Daisie Ketcham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob and sisters Rena and Hope. Survivors include her sons, Bob Jr., Bruce, Paul and 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Harris graduated from Glendale High in 1938 and has lived in South Phoenix since 1947. Faith was an accomplished pianist and organist and was always active in community volunteer work and church related activities. She was an active member of South Mtn. Community Church, Neighborhood House, Roosevelt Women's Club, Phoenix Christian Women United and Glendale Historical Society. Faith was honored for her community volunteer work by Rex Allen Jr. in Arizona Senate Chambers. Mrs. Harris always saw the good in everyone and so cherished the friendship and love of everyone she met. A memorial celebration of Faith's life will be held at South Mountain Community Church, 717 E. Southern, Phx Az on Tuesday, Dec. 9th at 10:30 am.
