Auernheimer, Bessie Edith Bessie Edith Auernheimer, 93, died Dec. 6th, 2003. She is survived by her sister, Katherine Simpson, and her brother Donald "Jeff" Warfield, her children, David Darrow - deceased, surviving are Jan Harris, Tim Darrow, Sherri Schroeder, Jeanne Miller, Phil Auernheimer, Daniel Auern-heimer, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren & 5 great-great grandchildren. Born May 23, 1910 Bessie Edith Warfield in Smithfield, Illinois of George LeRoy Warfield (1880-1954) and Neva Edith Little (1886-1934). She graduated High School in Cuba, Ill. and married Leslie Burl Darrow in 1927 and her four oldest children were born. Leslie Burl died in 1939. She met Arthur Auernheimer at the Peoria Illinois Mennonite Gospel Mission and they were married Feb. 1943, after which her last three children were born. Bessie was a member and 2nd grade Sunday School teacher at Bethany Bible Church, Phx. She was a life-long supporter, teacher and teacher trainer for CEF, Child Evangelism Fellowship. She also served on the Board of Directors of New Birth Mexican Mission, and along with her husband Art, was a lifelong supporter of many Christian missions and missionaries, including some of her children and grandchildren. She wrote over 100 Hymns, choruses and poems. Her life was devoted to the Lord Jesus and her fam-ily. As her family and ministry to others in His work grew, her devotion to the Lord in prayer was the focus of her Christian life. She is now safely in His arms in Heaven and we are rejoicing in the sure knowledge that all those who love Him will join her there some day. Services at Bethany Bible Church 6060 N. 7th Ave. Weds., Dec. 10th, 11 AM. With visitation from 9-11 AM. Arrangements by A.L. Moore-Grimshaw.
