CARRAWAY, Donna Lou

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, December 12, 2003 Donna Lou Zier Carraway, age 63, of Anacoco, LA, passed away December 9, 2003 at her residence in Anacoco, LA. She was a loving wife of 43 years, devoted mother, beloved sister and dedicated grandmother. She graduated from Mesa High School. She then graduated from the Cosmetology College in Mesa, AZ. She continued to maintain her cosmetology license. She retired as a registration clerk for the Arizona State University after 15 years. She was a former member of the College View Baptist Church in Mesa, AZ where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for 19 years. Her husband and her moved to Anacoco in 2000. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Hornbeck where she served as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include husband, Manton "Pete" C. Carraway of Anacoco, LA; two daughters, Donnis Theresa Carraway of Anacoco, LA and Melody Cathleen Carraway Shaw of Mesa, AZ; one son, Dennis Tracy Carraway of Mesa, AZ; one sister, Theresa "Tess" Irene Zier Yost of Mesa, AZ; one brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Hart of Payson, AZ; eight grandchildren, Paden Clayton & Lyle Clayton both of Ragley, LA, Manny Shaw, Stewart Shaw, Megan Shaw, Tracy Carraway, Mandy Carraway & Tiffany Carraway, all of Mesa, AZ; one great grandchild, Christopher Carraway of Mesa, AZ. Visitation Thursday, December 11, 2003 from 12 noon - 9:00 p.m. and Friday, December 12, 2003 from 8:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home. Service 2 P.M., Friday, December 12, 2003, Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, Leesville, LA with burial at Holly Grove Cemetery, Anacoco, LA. Minister Rev. Donnie Masters presiding.
