NARDUCCI,
Anthony (Tony)
Narducci, Anthony "Tony"
Anthony "Tony" Narducci, the beloved and protective husband of Betty (Beatrice) Narducci for 49 years, had his spirit leave this earth to be with his Heavenly Father on December 9, 2003. Tony accomplished many things in his life here on earth, cut short after his battle with cancer. He was proudest, however, of his loving relationship with his wife and the family they were able to create together. His loving family will miss him very much and will always recognize him as the "Family Hero." All of his family survives him and lives in the East Valley: his three sons, Luke, Anthony, and Frank, and his respective daughters-in-law, Sally, Patty, and Vicki, whom he loved as the daughters he never had; and his nine precious grandchildren: Mike (Karla), Nick (Chantel), Justin (Erin), Rebecca, Christa, Diana, Megan, Kyle, and his youngest princess, Emily. Tony was born in New York City and is the son of Luca and Connie Narducci. His accomplishments are too many to mention, but a few include: serving in the Navy as a Machinist 1st class with an honorable discharge in 1952; marrying Betty in 1954; owning and operating his and Betty's Family Italian Bakery, Narducci and Sons, in New York City until the family's move to Tucson in 1969; real estate investment in both Arizona and Vermont; and supervisor of food services for Tucson Unified School District. He retired after 26 years and traveled the world with Betty during the last ten years after his retirement. With Betty, he set the example as a loving couple, loving parents and grandparents. His motto with Betty that led to many of their achievements together was "If you think we can do it, we'll do it!" We will always remember and love him. Services for Tony will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 12, at St. Steven's Catholic Church, 24827 S. Dobson Road, Sun Lakes, AZ. There will be a visitation from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, December 11, (with Rosary at 7 p.m.) at Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive, Chandler, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street. Phoenix, 85014 or to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 420 W. Watkins Street, Phoenix, AZ 85003.
