Robert L. Dix, 87, of Phoenix, passed away December 9, 2003. He was born on July 9, 1916 in Chicago, IL. Mr. Dix was Director of Customer/Public Relations at Commonwealth Edison for over 33 years. He was a graduate of Northwest, a World War II Army Veteran (utilities specialist), President of the Electrical Union, and was on the Board of Director for Commonwealth Edison. Survivors include his wife, Ruth J. Dix, daughter, Linda L. Fastow, son, Robert D. Dix, sisters, Dorothy Michelich, Anita Bingham, brother, Leo Toman, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation, Sunday, December 14, 2003, 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral service, Monday, December 15, 2003, 9:00 A.M., Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3841 West Sweetwater Avenue.
