Cummings, Virginia Ledlie Virginia Ledlie Cummings, 94, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away December 9, 2003. Born in Des Moines, IA, she lived her whole life in the Des Moines area except for the last three years in Scottsdale, AZ. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Des Moines, IA, PEO, Order of the Eastern Star and was an Iowa Farm Bureau, District 9 committee woman. Survivors include her son Robert A. Ledlie; step-daughter Barbara C. Wanner; step-granddaughter Linda Breeden; sisters Evelyn Lenker and Naomi Munsell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. D.W. and Minnie Roberts; her first husband Alex Ledlie; her second husband Albert B. Cummings and son Thomas Richard Ledlie. Services 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 16th at Dunn's Funeral Home, 2121 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Presbyterian Church, 3829 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA 50312.
