Rosalie Valente, 84 of Scottsdale died Dec. 4, 2003. Born March 12, 1919 in Scott City Missouri she moved to Arizona 23 years ago from Illinois. She is survived by two daughters, Myra Giese and Laura Vano, one son Daniel, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Rosalie was a Member of the New Horizons Group at St. Joan of Arc, having served as Treasurer and President. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am Saturday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Chapel, 3801 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, followed by a Rosary at 9:45 am and the Mass at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions in her honor should go to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014. Messinger Indian School Mortuary assisted the family with arrangements.
