Yakubow, Stella Stella Yakubow, age 96, a resident of Glendale since 1997, passed away Dec. 9, 2003. A Beloved Mother & Grandmother who was preceded in death by her husband, James; sisters Jessie West & Lee Yoders; and brother Peter DeCovich. She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Miller of Wheeling WV; son & daughter-in-law, Bill & Janice Hodgson of Glendale; sister, Marion Konyha of Mandeville, La; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation 5-8PM, with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003 at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale, AZ. Funeral Mass 8:30 A.M., Friday, Dec. 12, 2003 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, AZ. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia. Published in the Arizona Republic on 12/11/2003.
