Leo O. Celaya, age 92, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. Born December 2, 1911 in Ray, AZ, to Mariano Celaya and Ramona Orosco Cota, Leo retired from Standard Oil Inc. in 1977 as foreman of the Paint Dept after 25 years of service. Leo married Hermie Arias on January 1, 1941 in Jerome, AZ and was married 61 years until she passed away September 9, 2002. Leo is survived by his loving family, daughter Linda "Susan" Cimorelli, 3 grandchildren, Miguel Melgoza, Jennifer and Marissa Seay, 2 great grandchildren Elise & Alexandria Clark. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm on Thursday, December 18, 2003 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel 6747 E. Broadway Rd. in Mesa. Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 am, Friday, December 19, 2003 at All Saints Catholic Church 1534 N. Recker Rd. in Mesa with interment immediately following at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park. Memorial Contributions may be made to Banner Hospice 7231 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa, 85208.
