Clyde, Everett J. "Skip"
Everett J. "Skip" Clyde, 70, of Mesa (formerly of Denver, CO) passed away on December 10, 2003. Skip was born on December 27, 1932, in Scottsbluff, NE to Charles and Marguret Clyde. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, 1953 to 1955. Skip was a member and Deacon of Faith Presbyterian Church in Aurora, CO and a life member of Scottsbluff Elks Lodge 1367. While living in Denver, Skip was an independent Manufacturers Representative for the Food Service Industry and served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado-Wyoming Restaurant Association. He was also honored with numerous awards for his sales accomplishments. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Marilyn; sister Virginia "Jane" Emery of Gering NE; sons, Charles Clyde of Denver, CO & Scott (Robin) Clyde of Mesa; daughter Lisa (Russ) Cummings of Ahwatukee, AZ; grandchildren, Andrew, Stephen, John, Shelby, Grant, Amber, Blake, & Joseph; nephew, Denny (Pat) Denison of Sedona, AZ; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Skip's abundant energy and passion for life will be greatly missed by family & friends. Visitation will be Sunday, December 14, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with services to be held on Monday, Dec.15, 10am. Both visitation and services to be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, 7900 E. Main.
