Rose Evelyn Eckert, age 84, passed away on April 28, 2010, in Prescott, Ariz. She was born on July 25, 1925, in Hendricks, Minn., to Albert and Louise (Schmidt) Dahlke.

Rose was a homemaker and liked to give back to the community with all of her volunteer hours donated to various non-profit organizations. She enjoyed painting, sewing and gardening.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Jean Anderson, Sharon Alway and Darlene Eckert; granddaughters Jami Moffit, Jodi Leonard and Taunya Eckert; grandson Jonathan Anderson; and great-grandsons James Thomas Moffit and Alex Leonard. 

A service for Rose will be at 11 a.m. on May 15, 2010, at the Prescott Community Church, 3151 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Ariz. 

Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
