FUHST, Terry

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, May 8, 2010 Terry Fuhst, 53, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Friday April 30, 2010, in his home while asleep. Terry was born Aug. 22, 1956, in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., to Joan Fuhst Grutzmacher and Warren Fuhst who, with his brother Steve, preceded Terry in death. Terry lived his life to the fullest. He was a great friend. He loved his music, ice hockey, carpentry, and admired Jerry Garcia. He was a true "Dead Head." Terry was loyal, extremely generous and sincere. His sense of humor and smile will be sorely missed. He is now with his family; may he rest in peace. Inside Out - by Terry Fuhst When I'm alone and silence fills the room I play a chord, some notes, and hum a tune No matter where you are, near or far I sing some words and strum on my guitar The beat of my heart in each note I play My thoughts and love in each word I say Music is in my very soul It helps to make me feel that I am whole The words I sing come from the very heart They bring us close whenever we're apart When I'm alone and silence fills the air I play and sing and know that someone cares My music has become my greatest friend I'll play and sing each day and never end The joy I feel to have this as my friend. No services are planned, but a "tip your glass" Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
