Mary Ann Kelley, 96, died Thursday October 28, 2004 in Snowflake.
She was born in Cambridge, Pennsylvania where she grew up and met Owen Kelley. They were married and had a daughter, Jean. In 1933 they moved to Phoenix, where Mary Ann gave birth to Owen, Jr. She worked part time as a beautician but by far her most important job was that of a homemaker. Mary Ann loved to crochet and made "Love Pillows" for everyone.
She was also an accomplished cook. Mary Ann enjoyed camping in the White Mountains and finally moved to Heber in the 1970's. She and Owen donated property in Heber to be used for a new and much needed medical center. She was very caring and loving, always giving hugs. She will be dearly missed.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Owen Kelly, Jr., granddaughter, Merilee Fraser; three grandchildren, Brian Doane, Tim Doane, Crystal Doane; five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Owen Kelly, Sr. and daughter, Jean E. Kelly.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Webb's Adult Care Center in Snowflake.
