The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 11/05/2004 Bertha DeVillers Anderson, 88, died at the Friendship House in Eagar, Nov. 1, 2004. She was born in Bethlehem, South Africa, Nov. 16, 1915. She married Joseph S. Anderson Nov. 27, 1960. She was a nurse for 23 years, and loved to read, knit and crochet. She enjoyed writing and was a published author. She also wrote many articles for newspapers. Her survivors include her husband Joseph S. Anderson; son Michael Anderson; daughters Dorthea Smith, Clarice Miller, Lynette Wyler and Ilene Gotier; and many grand children and great grandchildren. Services have not been announced yet.
