LANE, Herman Leo

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 11/12/2004 Herman Leo Lane, 77, departed this world for Heaven, Monday, Nov. 8, 2004 at the RTA Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Lakeside. He was a long time resident of Overgaard. Herman was born in Hazelton, North Dakota Dec. 19, 1926. He served in the Marine Corp and was a veteran of World War II. He had a genuine zest for life and was an avid "Rock Hound." Herman is survived by his brother, Quinton Lane; sisters, Theo Dickenson, Kay Lane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine. A memorial service will be held at the First Southern Baptist Church, 2727 Church Lane in Overgaard at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
