BAIN, George Robert

George Robert Bain, 74, died of heart failure, Oct. 16, 2004 in La Mesa, California surrounded by his loving family. 
     
George was born in New London, Connecticut Jan. 30, 1930. He was a longtime resident of California and lived in Show Low for 22 years. George served his country as a Korean vet in the Army. He met and married Lois Ann Bodie Aug. 29, 1954 in San Diego, California, and they just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. He was the last original member of the Lions Club in Concho.
      
He is survived by his wife Lois; daughters, Barbara Bain Mello and Beverly Bain Bruce Bradley; grandchildren, William Bruce and Stephanie and Diana Mello; son-in-laws, Robin Mello and Karl Bradley; sister, Joan Bain and sister-in-law, Rita Bain.
      
Family services will be held at a later date.
