DIXON, Rebecca Lorraine

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 12/03/2004 Rebecca Lorraine Dixon, 44, died Nov. 29, 2004 at her home in Lakeside. She was born in Globe where she attended school before moving to Tombstone in 1974. Following high school she married and moved to Douglas. In 1986 Rebecca moved to Apache Junction and worked as a care giver. She relocated in Lakeside in 1989 and continued working as a care giver for the mentally disabled. She was an animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors. Rebecca is survived by three sons, Joseph Riggs and Greg Riggs, both of Show Low, and James Riggs of Lakeside; her parents, Callis and Gloria Dixon of Sierra Vista; four sisters, Kat Dixon of Safford, Patty Balentine of Florence, Sandy Thrasher of Sierra Vista and Cally Dixon of Sierra Vista; two grandchildren; 16 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3 at the Pinetop-Lakeside Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
