Jack Dean Exline, 70, died Nov. 28, 2004 at his home in Lakeside.
He was born July 26, 1934 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Amlick and Lydia Exline. Jack was raised and attended schools in Council Bluffs. After graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1952, Jack enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served our country for 21 years, retiring as a highly decorated Chief Master Sergeant in February of 1973 at Luke Air Force Base in Phoenix.
Upon retirement, Jack and family lived in Florence, where he was employed by the State of Arizona, managing the Correctional Industries division for the Department of Corrections. He later served as Pinal County Superior Courts' first Adult Deferred Prosecution Director.
Jack and wife, Betty, relocated to Lakeside in 1985, ultimately becoming a successful small business owner of 16 years, establishing the family owned and operated E&E Services located in Lakeside.
Jack met his bride, Betty, of 49 1/2 years in Tucson, and were married in Coolidge April 2, 1955. He had a deep love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was passionate about his loving wife and guided, mentored, loved and played with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jack also enjoyed reading, spectator sports, his yard, fishing, hunting and nurturing his family of employees at E&E Services.
Jack was preceded in death by his brother, Richard and two sisters, Janice and Emily. Survivors include wife Betty; son Mark (Janet) daughter René; six grandchildren Amber and Dana Exline, Cody, Myca, and Carrine King, Marshall and Micah Pace; three great-grandchildren Thaddeus, Isabella, Hailey; and one brother Gary (Lois) Exline of Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Funeral services were held in Lakeside Dec. 2 at the White Mountain Bible Church, and another service will be held in Florence Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. at Simes Mortuaries, Florence Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Valley Memorial Park in Coolidge.
