GERBER, Robert (Bob)

Robert "Bob" Gerber, former Lakeside resident, went to be with the Lord Nov. 16, 2004 at the age of 81. 
      
He was born and raised in Nebraska and moved to California where he served in the United States Navy. Bob was formerly employed at Jackson's Mortuary and owned Hidden Rest Resort along with his wife Lois. Bob was a mason, a member of the VFW, and the Elks Lodge. He will be remembered for his fun loving spirit.
      
He leaves behind his daughters; and sons-in-law, Stephanie Gerber and Ken Schmidt, Barbara Gerber-Jones, and Rick Jones; and four grandchildren, Lacy, Conner, Zaiah and Teniyah Rose; and a great-grandson, Ian David.
