TAYLOR, Jerry Allen, Sr.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 05/11/2010 Jerry Allen Taylor, Sr. died of a heart attack Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in Show Low. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to Arizona with his family in the 50s. He graduated from San Manuel High School in 1957 and obtained his associates degree in mechanical engineering. He worked for over 30 years at Motorola in Phoenix. He married his high school sweetheart Mary Elizabeth Hawes Taylor for 44 years until she passed away in 2003. He is survived by his three children, Jerry Taylor Jr. (Bonnie) of Chandler, Beverly Taylor-Barton (Rick) of Coolidge and Michael Taylor (Rachael) of Page. He is also survived by his mother Lucille Taylor of Mesa, brother Don Taylor of Snowflake and Fiance Connie Latherow of Cortez, Colo.; four grandchildren Brian (Cassy), Amanda (Zach), Evlin, and Jerry; five great-grandchildren Brayden, Noah and Alex Ridgeway and Jaxon and Ryker Taylor. He loved life and his family and they loved him more than words can express. He will be remembered and cherished forever by all who knew him. Arrangements by Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor.
