GADDY, Eugene Wilford

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 12/14/2004 Eugene Gaddy, 85, died at his home at Blue, Dec. 6, 2004. Gene was born in Lampasas, Texas, May 4, 1919. He has been a resident in Arizona for the past 67 years. He married sweetheart, Betty Marks June 22, 1940. Two sons resulted from that union. Gene was a part of Arizona's Copper Era and was employed at the Morenci mine for 33 years. He was a member of BPOE No.1147. He loved to hike and fish. His survivors include wife Betty Gaddy, Blue; sons Gene Gaddy, Jr., of Blue, and David Gaddy, Mule Creek, New Mexico.; sister Lucille Thompson, Lampasas, Texas; four grandchildren Necole Greer, Carol Ann Thompson, Kevin Gaddy and Aaron Gaddy and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Springerville handled the arrangements.
