The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona - 12/17/2004 Klea Boddeker, 93, died peacefully at the Payson Care Center, Dec. 10, 2004. She was born in Nutrioso, Nov. 17, 1911, one of 13 children born to Don Carlos and Ida (Lee) Hamblin. She married Hugh F. Boddeker while still a young woman. From that union came three children. She was a resident of Mesa for over 50 years and moved back to the White Mountains in her latter years. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she always approached it with the glee of a child. Her survivors include son, Hugh S. (Mary) Boddeker, Eagar; and five sisters Blanche, Sylvia, Helen, Margaret and Shirley. Preceding her in death were her husband, Hugh F. Boddeker; daughters Patricia and Betty; two brothers and five sisters; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Friday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at the Mesa 14th Ward, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 14th Ward, 340 N. Beverly, in Mesa. A service also was held at the Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary Chapel Wednesday, Dec. 12. Interment will be at the Mesa City Cemetery, Mesa. Burnham-Jewkes Mortuary, Springerville is in charge of the arrangements.
