Henry McIntyre, 78, died Dec. 25, 2004.
He was born and raised in Syracuse, New York where he also attended school. Henry enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 16. After his discharge from the Navy he drove a truck and saw much of the United States. He settled in Snowflake and met Gayle Stephens and fell in love. They enjoyed 29 years of marriage. He was a jack-of-all-trades and had tremendous mechanical ability. He was a good husband and father. In his free time Henry enjoyed riding a motorcycle in his younger days and fishing and hunting throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle of Snowflake; son, Ernest (Rose) McIntyre; three daughters, Samantha McIntyre of Snowflake, Karen Hardin of Snowflake and Linda (Ron) Hudson of Chandler; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 at the Main Street Chapel, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
