The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 19, 1978, p. 18 ROSCOE G. JARVIS Services for Roscoe G. Jarvis, 67, were Tuesday morning this week in the Calvary Baptist Church. He died last Friday in the Wickenburg Community Hospital. Mr. Jarvis was born in Middleton, Ida., and spent his early life on a cattle and horse ranch. He dame to Arizona many years ago, and worked in the mining industry. In 1953, he went to Bagdad, where he was diamond drill foreman until his retirement four years ago, when he moved to Wickenburg. He was a member of the Bagdad Masonic lodge and a 32ned Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He is survived by his widow, Daisy; two daughters, Barbara Pease and Beverly Douglas; a son, Roscoe; a brother, Leo; a half-brother, Bill Zimmerman; step children Ernestine Hammon, Geraldine Dwight, Norma Bowman, and Larry Dickie; 20 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The Wickenburg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
