HARRIS, Merden (Jack)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ March 9, 1978, p. 8 MERDEN (JACK) HARRIS The death of a longtime resident of Wickenburg, Merden (Jack) Harris, 86, was learned here this week. Mr. Harris died Jan. 15 in Torrance, Calif. He was a former employee of the Town until his retirement. Mr. Harris was a member of the American Legion over 58 years, a member of Kellis-Draper VFW Post for over 30 years, and a member of the Elks Lodge here. He was a veteran of the First World War. Survivors include two sisters, Alice Mae Hager of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Erma J. Hicks of Torrance, and a nephew, Charles W. Hicks of Torrance.
