Beverley Miltenberger passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002, at Banner Gardens Hospice in Mesa, Arizona seven days after her 82nd birthday.
Born in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and a resident of Oregon, California, and Arizona, she resided at the Golden Vista RV Resort in Apache Junction, AZ for the last ten years.
An avid outdoor person, she rode horses in trail rides, horse shows and cattle drives in Oregon and California. She fished for trout, salmon, and sturgeon; hunted deer, elk and antelope for more than 50 years. A congenial, witty companion to two husbands (deceased), many friends and family. Art and antiques were her passions. Porcelain painting was her primary interest for the last 10 years. A strong, intelligent and loving person, loved by many.
She is survived by two sons, John (Nancy) Hawkins of Fiddletown, CA, and Doug (DeeAnne) Hawkins of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren and one great grandchild, Kim (Lewis) Whitaker, Aaron Hawkins, Jose Hawkins, J.J. (Jennifer) Hawkins, and their son Logan.
Cremation by the Cremation Society. Internment in the family plot in California at a future date. A memorial celebration of her life and art will be held at Golden Vista RV Park, in the Ballroom, on December 16, at 1:00 PM. Call Doug Hawkins for details.
