Ruth M. (nee Monroe) Clausen, 87, of Gilbert, Arizona formerly of New Milford and Whiting died December 11, 2002. 

Before retiring, she was a secretary with Navy Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C. 

Family will receive their friends Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday at Vander Plaat Memorial Home, S113 Farview Ave., Paramus, NJ. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60611, Attn: Donation Services. Arrangements: Vander Plaat Memorial Home, Paramus, NJ.
